Ben Hartwick
Serving the HVAC Industry Since 2001 · U.S. Air Force Veteran · Former Firefighter-Paramedic
Ben began his HVAC career in 2001 while serving in the United States Air Force, maintaining and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems throughout the United States and the Middle East.
After leaving the military, Ben founded and operated a residential HVAC company in St. Augustine, Florida, successfully building and leading the business for more than a decade before selling it. During that time, he also served his community as a firefighter-paramedic, bringing the same commitment to professionalism, problem-solving, and service to every aspect of his career.
Today, Ben is the Founder of Mechanical Advantage, where he combines more than two decades of real-world HVAC experience with a passion for education, technology, and innovation. Through residential HVAC design, educational resources, professional tools, and future technology, Mechanical Advantage exists to help homeowners, contractors, builders, and HVAC professionals make better-informed decisions.
